Small Towns

Small towns get more of our attention than they usually get from travel blogs. Within reach of Valencia we visit Morella with its medieval fantasy vibe, red-ochre Albarracín, Bocairent, Moixent and the street-art village of Fanzara, plus Altea, Finestrat and Guadalest in Alicante. There is also Yellow Springs, Ohio, with its progressive streak, the whitewashed village of Loutro on Crete, and two German villages from Jürgen’s childhood, Traisa and Bad König.
