Wildlife and nature stories on this blog are mostly about slowing down outdoors. Near Valencia we walk the shores of Albufera Lake, wander the farmland of La Huerta Norte and follow the Ruta de Aguas in Buñol. Ohio gives us toads and mushrooms at Caesar Creek State Park, the Cedar Bog preserve and an unlikely safari, while Pangkor Laut delivers creatures large and small on a very small island. Valencia’s Bioparc sneaks in too.
