Family keeps pulling us back to the United States, so most stories here are set around Springfield, Ohio, where Mike’s mom lives: the Hartman Rock Garden, Frank Lloyd Wright’s Westcott House, plus Yellow Springs, Dayton and Clifton Mill’s Christmas lights. Farther east we toured the US Capitol in Washington DC and walked the Manhattan Bridge in New York City, with a Columbus Crew playoff, housesitting in Hudson and Jungle Jim’s in Cincinnati along the way.
