Another trick eye piece we found while touring Washington DC used a painted house facade to create depth that simply is not there, windows and doorways rendered with shadows and perspective lines convincing enough to fool the camera completely from the right angle. It is a surprisingly simple technique once you understand how it works, just paint and careful geometry, but the effect still holds up even when you already know exactly how the trick is done.
