Springfield Ohio Fall Foliage

The very first signs of fall arriving in Springfield, Ohio show up at the tips of the leaves before the rest of the tree catches up, a faint red edge creeping in while most of the canopy is still fully green underneath. We filmed several trees right at that early stage, the kind of subtle seasonal shift that is easy to miss if you are not specifically looking for it. Full color usually follows within a couple of weeks once this first change begins showing.
