The US Botanic Garden in Washington DC sets up an elaborate model train display every December, miniature trains running through landscaped scenes built entirely from plant material, bark, seed pods, and dried leaves standing in for buildings and terrain. We filmed the trains winding through one of the more detailed sections, genuinely impressed by how much craft goes into a display that only runs for a few weeks each year before it comes back down again.
