Confused Europeans Thanksgiving Edition

Cranberry jello sauce sat on the Thanksgiving table during our time in Springfield, Ohio, and as Europeans encountering it for the first time, the texture alone took some getting used to before we could even consider the flavor. We filmed the wobble of it up close, still not entirely sure how to categorize a jellied fruit dish sitting next to the turkey and mashed potatoes. Some American holiday traditions apparently need a bit more explanation than others.
