Christmas Tree is going up in Springfield, Ohio #2024 #springfield #ohio

We happened to be downtown in Springfield, Ohio exactly when the crew started raising this year’s Christmas tree, a crane slowly lifting it into place while a small crowd gathered to watch the process rather than just the finished result. There is something satisfying about seeing the mechanics behind a seasonal tradition most people only ever encounter already lit and decorated. We filmed the whole awkward, careful process of getting a tree that size upright in the middle of a city square.
