Glorious Corn in Springfield Ohio

Springfield, Ohio has an oversized corn statue standing in a spot that makes it impossible to miss once you notice it, the kind of civic landmark that says something specific about the region’s agricultural identity without needing a plaque to explain it. We filmed it mostly because of how unexpectedly large and committed to the concept the statue is, standing there with complete confidence in the middle of an otherwise ordinary street. Small towns often reveal themselves through exactly this kind of detail.
