Washington DC Monument #washingtondc

Three weeks in Washington DC gave us enough time to actually settle into the city rather than just checking landmarks off a list, and the monument itself became something we passed regularly rather than a single planned visit. We filmed it on an ordinary walk, the obelisk catching the light differently depending on the time of day and the angle we happened to be approaching from. Bangkok is next on the route, a fairly dramatic shift in both climate and pace.
