Pumpkin Magic in the Midwest – Yellow Springs Ohio #fall2025

Fall arrives properly at Pfeifer Orchards near Yellow Springs, rows of pumpkins in every shape imaginable, ghostly pale gourds sitting next to the classic deep orange ones under a sky that finally looks and feels like autumn in the Midwest. We shot the whole thing in slow motion, letting the texture of each pumpkin’s skin and stem come through in a way that a quick pass with a phone camera usually misses entirely. It is a small, seasonal scene, but a genuinely satisfying one to film.
