Beggar’s Night Springfield Ohio for Halloween 2023

Beggar’s Night is Springfield, Ohio’s own version of Halloween trick or treating, an annual evening walk through neighborhoods decorated for the occasion while kids in costume move door to door collecting candy. We filmed a short walk through the city during that particular evening, porches lit up and decorated in ways that ranged from simple to genuinely elaborate. It is a small town tradition that carries a specific local name most visitors would not otherwise know to look for.
