Plaza de la Reina in Valencia finished a long stretch of construction with a set of mist fountains built directly into the pavement, fine spray rising at intervals that pedestrians can walk straight through without breaking stride. We filmed the fountains running for the first time since the work wrapped up, the square already busier again now that the barriers and equipment were finally gone. It is a small addition, but one that changes how the whole plaza feels in summer.
