The street running past the Micalet Bell Tower in Valencia might be the most quietly romantic corner of the old town, views of the tower framed perfectly between the surrounding buildings as it strikes the hour, the sound carrying clearly down the narrow street below. We filmed it right as it struck one o’clock, the bell’s tone settling over a street that was, for that particular moment, almost completely empty of anyone else around to hear it.
