A film crew had taken over part of Plaza de la Virgen in Valencia, dancers moving through routines that mixed Bollywood choreography with flamenco footwork right in front of the fountain, the Micalet Tower rising behind them as an unplanned backdrop. We never found out whether it was for a film or a music video, but the color and energy of it stopped us mid walk regardless. Watching a production take over a familiar square changes how you see the space afterward.
