Pedestrian Lights Built Into the Sidewalk – Perfect for Phone Zombies #influencerlifesaver

Valencia has quietly solved a problem most cities have not even acknowledged yet, embedding small traffic lights directly into the pavement at certain crossings so that anyone staring down at a phone can still see when it is safe to step off the curb. We filmed a handful of people crossing without ever looking up, the strip of light at their feet doing all the work their eyes were not. It is a small, oddly thoughtful piece of urban design hiding in plain sight.
