City of Arts and Sciences Mornings in Valencia

An early morning bike ride through Valencia’s City of Arts and Sciences catches the complex at its best, before the crowds arrive and while the water in the surrounding pools is still calm enough to hold a nearly perfect reflection of Calatrava’s white structures. We filmed the ride slowly, letting the symmetry of the buildings and their mirror images fill most of the frame. Morning light does something to this particular architecture that midday visits never quite manage to capture.
