A beautiful night at the Opera in Valencia

We finally got the chance to walk around the Reina Sofia Opera House at the City of Arts and Sciences after dark, Calatrava’s design taking on a completely different character once the exterior lighting kicks in and the white ribs of the structure start throwing long shadows across the surrounding water. We filmed the approach slowly, in no rush, since a building this deliberately theatrical deserves more than a quick pass with the camera.
