Valencia Sunset on the Last Day Of Summer #spaintravel

The last evening of summer in Valencia gave us a sky worth stopping for, soft pink and pale blue drifting over the Cathedral and Plaza de la Virgen like the season wanted to leave on good terms. We stood in the square with everyone else who had noticed, phones and cameras up, nobody rushing off despite the light fading fast. There was nothing dramatic about it, just an ordinary square turned briefly extraordinary by a sky that seemed to know the date.
