Nature Walk North of Valencia: L’Horta Nord
The player loads from YouTube only when you press play.
L’Horta Nord starts almost as soon as Valencia’s suburbs end, orchards and irrigation channels replacing apartment blocks within a few minutes of walking north from Alboraya. We followed one of the paths through fields still worked the traditional way, low stone walls dividing plots that have probably looked the same for generations. It is an easy walk, flat and shaded in places, and a reminder of how quickly this city gives way to open countryside once you leave the center.
