The Centro de Arte Hortensia Herrero in Valencia turned into one of those museum visits that runs long without you noticing, contemporary installations spread through a restored historic building in a way that keeps surprising you room to room. The optical illusion pieces in particular pulled us in longer than planned, perspectives shifting completely depending on where you stood relative to the work. We left having spent far more time there than we had originally budgeted for the visit, and did not mind at all.
