It’s time for a homage to the Valèncian Mascletà

We put together a tribute video built entirely around Mascletà footage recorded during Fallas 2021, this distinctive Valencian style of daytime fireworks that relies on rhythm and sheer volume of sound rather than visual spectacle the way nighttime fireworks usually do. Editing the footage together into one continuous sequence let us revisit a tradition we have clearly become somewhat obsessed with, one that genuinely does not translate well until you have stood in a crowd and felt it directly.
