A Weekend in Morella Spain – Medieval Town Straight Out of Game of Thrones

Morella had been sitting at the top of our weekend-trip list for years, always getting bumped for somewhere else, until we finally rented a car and drove north into the mountains to see it. The town appears almost out of nowhere on a hilltop, wrapped in medieval walls that make the whole approach feel a little cinematic. Even in December the air up there was noticeably cooler than what we are used to back in Valencia.
