Les llums de Vivers – Christmas Lights in Valencia 2021 – Jardines del Real
The player loads from YouTube only when you press play.
Valencia usually keeps its Christmas lights fairly simple, strings over the main streets and a big cone-shaped tree in the Plaza del Ayuntamiento, but this year the city added something more elaborate: Les llums de Vivers, a full light display set up inside the Jardines del Real, also known as the Viveros gardens. Having grown up with proper German Christmas markets, I’ve always found Valencia’s version of the season a bit thin, but this display finally gave the city some real festive atmosphere.
