Valencia Off the Beaten Path: The Secret La Lonja Tower Tour

Climbing the tower of La Lonja had been on our Valencia wishlist for years, and every time we walked past its locked gate we got a little more frustrated that it was off-limits. After plenty of emails and asking around with no luck, we finally found a way to get permission, sixteen years after moving to this city. Getting up onto that roof and looking out over the old town made all that persistence feel completely worth it.
