We watched this mascletà from a balcony during Fallas 2018, and it’s still one we come back to as maybe the best we’ve ever seen: loud, tightly built, and ending in a finale that left the whole crowd a little stunned. We know a video of an explosion in a plaza might not sound like must-watch material to everyone, but if you’ve stood through a real mascletà, you’ll understand the appeal instantly.
