We’ve been based in Valencia for over a decade, but 2020 was the first year we didn’t leave for more than a few weeks at a time, grounded here along with everyone else by the pandemic. Case numbers in the region climbed sharply as the year went on, and restrictions tightened again: no leaving the city on weekends, no meeting with friends, curfews and closed bars and restaurants. This video is a small record of what enduring all that actually looked like, day to day.
