8-Minute Terminal Transfers: Inside Frankfurt Airport’s New SkyLine
The player loads from YouTube only when you press play.
Frankfurt’s new Terminal 3 opened with its own driverless train linking it back to Terminal 1, gliding along an elevated track at speeds that make an eight minute transfer feel almost too short to enjoy. We rode the full stretch just to watch it operate itself around curves with no driver’s cabin at all, the kind of quietly futuristic detail that most travelers rushing between gates probably never stop to notice. For us it was worth filming on its own.
