Guimerà – A Medieval Treasure in the Hills of Catalonia
The player loads from YouTube only when you press play.
Guimerà sits up in the hills of Catalonia, a town built almost entirely from stone that has barely changed shape since the Middle Ages, its alleys narrow and its stairways steep enough to make you stop and catch your breath. We climbed to the tower at the top for a view that stretched across the whole surrounding valley, fields and hills in every direction with no other town in sight. It is the kind of stop that rewards curiosity more than planning.
