Running Through the Medieval Town of Guimerà in Catalonia
The player loads from YouTube only when you press play.
Guimerà looks enough like a film set that it is easy to forget people actually live here, stone houses stacked up a hillside with alleys too narrow for anything but foot traffic. We ran the length of the town just to feel the stairways and turns under our own feet rather than filming it from a fixed spot, laundry hanging overhead, cats scattering out of the way. It is a very small, very real town in Catalonia, not a reconstruction.
