A small caterpillar made its way across a leaf right as the sun was setting on Pangkor Laut Island, its silhouette catching the last warm light in a way that made an otherwise unremarkable insect briefly look like the main event of the evening. We filmed it slowly working its way along the edge of the leaf, in no apparent hurry despite the light fading fast around it. Some of the smallest details on a trip end up being the ones that stick with you longest.
