Flying Fox Colony (BATS) in Malaysia #shots #bats
The player loads from YouTube only when you press play.
A colony of flying foxes, essentially giant fruit bats with wingspans far larger than the word bat usually suggests, had settled into the trees on Pangkor Laut Island, hanging in dense clusters that shifted and resettled every time one of them stretched or repositioned. We filmed them from below as the light faded, wings catching just enough glow to outline their shapes against the darkening canopy. Seeing that many of them together in one place was not something we expected to find here.
