Caesar Creek State Park Hike and Pioneer Village in Ohio

Looking for something to do on a warm fall weekend near Springfield, Mike found Caesar Creek State Park, about an hour south of town. We parked by the lake at Pioneer Village, an open-air museum of fifteen original buildings from the late 1700s and early 1800s, before heading out onto the hiking trails that wind around the water. Between the old log cabins and the miles of trail, it turned out to be a perfect way to spend a sunny afternoon outdoors.
