A Bike Tour from the city of Valencia to Paterna’s Cave Houses

Valencia rarely makes it onto lists of the world’s best cycling cities, which frankly baffles us, because it should be near the top: flat terrain, huge stretches of dedicated bike paths, and good weather nearly year-round. This ride follows one of our favorite routes out of the city, ending at the cave houses of Paterna, the small town made briefly famous by its appearance in a Pedro Almodóvar film. A great excuse to see how far the city’s bike infrastructure actually stretches.
