UK Travel Destinations: Whitstable Oyster Tour

Whitstable’s oyster tour takes you out onto the actual trestles where the oysters grow, walking through shallow water at low tide to reach beds that have been worked this way for generations along the Kent coast. Afterward there is a chance to try some freshly harvested oysters right where they came from, about as direct a farm to table moment as seafood gets. We filmed the walk out across the flats, boots sinking slightly with every step toward the trestles ahead.
