During the Fallas festival in Valencia, thousands of women wear an elaborate traditional hairstyle built around two large coiled buns positioned just above the ears, a look tied specifically to the regional Valencian dress worn throughout the celebrations. We filmed the style up close, the careful sectioning and pinning clearly the result of real skill rather than something thrown together quickly. It has become one of the most recognizable visual details of the entire festival.
