The Most Relaxing Spot in Valencia

Monforte Gardens hides one of the quietest corners in Valencia, a small stone fountain where an entire school of goldfish moves in unison every time the water shifts, orange bodies turning together like one creature instead of dozens. We sat on the edge of the basin longer than we meant to, watching them circle and reverse without any obvious signal telling them when. It is a strange, small kind of hypnosis, and an easy reason to slow down.
