Taking the Pilatus Panorama Gondola from Kriens to Fräkmüntegg

The first leg of our trip up Mount Pilatus started in Kriens, at the base of the Panorama Gondola that carries you up to Frakmuntegg. The cabins were modernized back in 2015 and hold up to four passengers each, gliding quietly over forest and steep meadows as the town below gets smaller and smaller. It is a calm start to the climb, before things get more dramatic on the second gondola further up.
