Mount Pilatus Dragon Ride – Gondola Through the Clouds to the Summit

Getting to the top of Mount Pilatus above Lucerne takes two separate gondolas, and this video picks up right where the first one leaves off. After the panorama gondola drops you at Frakmuntegg, the Dragon Ride gondola takes over for the second, steeper leg up to the summit, climbing through cloud cover as it goes. It is a slightly surreal way to finish a mountain, watching the view disappear and reappear through the windows on the way up.
