Human Castell in Valencia

We walked past La Nau in Valencia just as a small group had started building a human tower, the base locking arms while climbers worked their way up in stages, balancing on shoulders that were already carrying more weight than looked comfortable. It was a modest version of the tradition compared to the huge competitive towers built elsewhere in the region, but the coordination and trust required were obvious even at this smaller scale. We stopped walking entirely until the top climber made it up and back down safely.
