We’ve watched a lot of street mascletàs over the years, but this one, set off at night at Maestro Gozalbo and Conde Altea, was on another level of intensity. The warning shots alone made it clear we were in for something rough, and once the real explosions started, the smoke and noise were overwhelming even by our standards. Our ears were still ringing well after we’d walked away.
