Hua Lamphong has been Bangkok’s main train station for over a century, and I found out on this visit that it’s scheduled to close soon, set to become a museum once the new station at Bang Sue takes over. With a full day to kill before a late flight, I spent hours just wandering the Neo-Renaissance hall, camera in hand, taking in a building that reminded me of train trips with my own family as a kid. It felt worth capturing before the trains stop running through it for good.
