Plaza del Carmen is the heart of the Carmen neighborhood, one of our favorite corners of Valencia’s old town. It has that lived-in, slightly worn character typical of Carmen, with tables from surrounding bars spilling out into the square and people just hanging around at all hours. Whenever we want to show someone what makes this part of the city special, this little plaza is usually where we start.
