On our second evening at Pangkor Laut, we joined a small group of fellow resort guests for a sunset cruise around the island, drinks and snacks handed out the moment we stepped aboard. Seeing the island from the water gave us a completely different sense of its shape and scale than we’d gotten on foot, especially when the boat slowed near Emerald Bay to let the light do its thing. A relaxed, easy way to close out another day of doing very little.
