Emerald Dream Beach on Pangkor Island & Wild Boar

For Mike’s and my 20th anniversary, we splurged on three nights at the Pangkor Laut Resort, a private island off Malaysia’s coast, and this beach was where we spent most of our first afternoon. After settling into our sea villa, we took the island shuttle across to Chapman’s Bar for lunch, then claimed two beach chairs and stayed until sunset. A wild boar wandered past at one point, apparently as at home on the island as the resort’s actual guests.
