A day of paperwork in Barcelona gave us an excuse to finally see more of the city than the three days I’d spent there on a photo job over a decade earlier. I caught the early train out of Valencia’s Joaquín Sorolla station at 7:05am, handled the admin, and then had a handful of hours left to actually explore before heading back the same evening. Ten hours isn’t much, but it was more time in central Barcelona than either of us had managed in over twelve years.
