Swiss Riviera to Winter Wonderland – One Epic Train Ride #cogwheel #switzerland

The train from Montreux climbs out of the Swiss Riviera and, in under a minute of footage, trades palm trees and lake views for snow covered peaks, the whole climate shifting in front of the camera like a season changing in fast forward. We rode it mostly for that exact transformation, watching spring turn abruptly to winter as the elevation climbed higher along the mountainside. Few train rides anywhere compress that much visible change into so short a stretch of track.
