A Visit to the Library of Congress in Washington DC – Admiring the Architecture.

The Library of Congress is worth visiting for the building alone, a genuine architectural marvel both inside and out, but the reading room is the real showstopper: a soaring dome, ringed with books and desks arranged like spokes on a wheel. It’s also personally meaningful to me, since this is the home of the US Copyright Office, where a lot of my own photography is registered. Walking through, knowing some small part of my work lives here too, was a nice bonus on top of the architecture.
