Years ago, we stopped at Clifton Mill near Yellow Springs, Ohio, just for lunch, and learned it turns into an enormous Christmas light display every winter. This year, we finally made good on our promise to come back for it, driving fifteen minutes south from Springfield to see the mill and its grounds covered in over four million lights. It’s the kind of over-the-top holiday spectacle that’s easy to underestimate until you’re standing in front of it.
