Heathrow (T5) Autonomous Pod Night AND Morning Ride to the Thistle Hotel (Fun Way of Transportation)

We rode Heathrow’s driverless pods for the first time years ago, just for the fun of it, going back and forth between Terminal 5 and the parking lots with no real destination. This time we actually had somewhere to be – our hotel – so we got to experience the pods doing their actual job, both at night after a late arrival and again the next morning. They are a genuinely fun little detour through an airport that does not usually give you much to smile about.
